Happy Birthday Kenny

Kennys birthday was last week on the 13th. I hope he had a good one. He ended up having the two days before his birtday off so he was able to spend time with Jason and get some stuff done around the house. Because he gets home so late after work we decided to go to dinner on Wednesday night to celebrate. When we got back we watched a movie and went to bed. On Saturday we set up to meet most of his family at a restaurant in Sandy to eat. I appreciate the distance that everyone traveled to meet us there. It turned out to be a bad experience but it was still fun to see most of the family. We had 18 of us there total. We ended up waiting for our table for over 2 hours just to find out that they gave the tables we were supposed to sit at to other people and ended up having to wait a little later to be seated. In the meantime, I totally lost my cool and went and yelled at the manager. I let him know that I called at 4 to warn them that we would be there at 5 with a very large group of 18. I was told by the girl on the phone that they didn't take reservations for that large of a group but to let them know when we got there. We were told that the wait would be about an hour and a half but we were OK with that. Once we got seated the manager brought out cheese fries to try to make up for their mistakes. We also were told that we should have called ahead and we told them that we did but no one wanted to listen. Anyway, Happy birthday Kenny. We love you.
