Temple Open House

Last Thursday we went to the temple open house with my mom, my sister, her husband, and their 4 kids. We first met for lunch then headed to the church to catch our bus. It took us a total of 3 hours. It was definitely worth it. It was so pretty inside. The colors were very earthy and warm. The wood in there was so pretty! It was such a great experience to go with my family.

After we finished up there we went and got some ice cream from Macey's. We tried to warn my brother-in-law about how big they make their cones, but I guess he didn't hear us. He ordered a Kong size and was dying with laughter when they gave it to him and it filled up two 32 oz cups and then some. The kids thought it was the greatest. Thank you for inviting us to have such a fun day with you sis. Love ya.

I was seating at the dedication at our stake center listening to Pres. Monson talk about that little girl in the celestial room, and I wished we would have taken the girls to see the the temple. Maybe next time, when the Day-Brake Temple gets done. I'm glad you guys got to go.
