Treatments

About a month or two ago Jason got sick with a very high fever that just wouldn't go down under 100 even after having Tylenol. I thought I'd wait it out until the next day and if he still had it to take him in to the Dr. Then the poor guy fell asleep on the couch and was wheezing and panting. I knew then that it was time to take him in now and not wait until the morning. Kenny was out of town so I took him over to the Instacare by myself. It ends up that he got RSV that caused him to have Bronchitis. They sent me home with a machine to do breathing treatments with him. He was a pretty good sport about it. He even held the tube. All I had to do was put on one of his favorite shows and bribe him with a sucker.

Poor guy. We stayed home for a week straight to make sure we didn't get anyone else sick. We both got very stir crazy and were ready when the week went by and we were finally able to venture out and play with friends.

You're lucky he didn't have to wear the mask. What a good little guy doing his treatments on his own! He definitely looks like he doesn't feel good. Poor little bum. I'm glad RSV is now a thing of our past. It had better stay that way!

Poor little guy! I hate when kids are that sick and they just look miserable!
That's great that he didn't put up a fight for the breathing treatments! Layla got bronchialitis a couple times a couple of winters ago and the first breathing treatment she did not like at all!
