Rhythm & Blues

Jason has the Rhythm and I've got the Blues. Jason was dancing the most I've ever seen him dance, this morning while watching Mic.key Mou.se Club.house. It was one of the cutest things ever! He definitely made my day. He has always had good rhythm. He bangs his head to the beat of music. Maybe he gets his love for rock music from all the hours he heard daddy playing Guit.ar He.ro while I was pregnant with him.

I am home sick with strep. No one ever likes having strep! My throat started hurting really bad suddenly on Sunday. I just thought it was drainage from my head cold that was causing it to hurt. So I went to work on Monday and ended up leaving there early to go home and take a nap. I woke up at about 4 and ended up going to the Insta-care. They tested me for strep and told me that it came back positive. They gave me a z pack because I am allergic to the cure all pink stuff. This morning I woke up in a lot of pain and noticed that my tonsils on the right side were so swollen that it took up half of my throat. I woke Kenny up and told him that I needed to go to the emergency room. I thought that I may have my tonsils taken out. They did some tests there and found out that I didn't have mono which is a good thing because the antibiotics will help with strep and won't do anything for mono. They gave me a shot of heavy antibiotics, and sent me home with a prescription for a liquid pain killer and some steroids. They said that if the swelling doesn't' go down soon that I may have to have it drained at the Dr's office. I hope that everything that they have done will help out soon.

Kenny has been so great to me. Yesterday he took Jason to the sitter's house so I could get some rest and try to recover. He woke up really early to take me to the hospital. He is running errands and taking care of Jason today on his day off. I appreciate everything that he does for me. I really hope that no one else ends up getting it. My sister and one of her kids has gotten it, and it is definitely not fun.

Poor Sarah. :( I hope that you are feeling much better by the time you see this comment. I hope that the swelling has gone down and you are a bit more comfortable. Sorry about the lag over IM today. The other pregnant girl in the office came over to commiserate with me. Hopefully I will get to talk to you tomorrow. Take care of yourself.

Love ya!

I hope you get feeling better soon! Remington returned to school today and I am feeling quite a bit better. I'm still curious who keeps bringing all the germs to family gatherings. First the Thanksgiving flu, now New Years Eve strep..hmmmmm, I wonder....
