Playing cousins

Last Saturday I was nice enough to watch my sister-in-laws kids, mind you she brought them over at 7 AM. Justin is 2 1/2 and Kyle is about 8 month old. Jason and Justin had their sharing struggles, as always but played pretty well together. But Jason loved Kyle. He brought him toys, tried to pick him up, and played with his hair. I asked him if he wanted to hold Kyle and he got so excited. I had him sit on the couch and I sat Kyle in front of him and he wrapped is arms around him and had a huge grin on his face. He was so soft and gentle with him, I was so proud.

The other day, to tease Kenny, I asked Jason if he wanted a little brother and he nodded his head yes. I then asked if he wanted a sister and he nodded his head no. Then I asked if he wanted both and he nodded no again. It was pretty funny. We ask him here and there if he wants a brother and/or sister and his answers change on the sister but he always says he wants a little brother. We'll have to wait and find out after I convince Kenny that it is ok to have another kid now.
