Farewell to Working

My time has come. I was able to quit working and be a stay-at-home mom. Kenny and I spent a lot of time talking about the pluses and minuses about me quiting and decided that me being a stay-at-home mom is very important right now. It was not an easy thing to go from the known daily routine of working to go to the unknown but I know that I am supposed to be home right now with Jason.

I started out working for Check City as an admin assistant working in the Operations department and worked there for 9 months. (I got pregnant pretty much the week I started working there.) Once I returned from being on maternity leave I was transferred to the Admin department and worked the rest of my time there. I worked for them for about 2 and 1/2 years. This is where I sat for the majority of my time working in the Admin department. This is the crew I worked with. (Left to Right) Brooke, Kristen, Todd, Me, Susan, Kara, and Letecia.

There are many things that I will miss about working there. I will definately miss the opportunity to have 2 free Mtn Dews a day! I had awesome benefits and some pretty fun perks at that job. I will miss the many laughs we've had there. I've met some really awesome people there that have changed my life for the good. I wish I could say that I'd miss working with a certain project that I was handed while working there but that would be a lie. Some of you know what project that is.
Now is the time to start a new chapter in life and I'm really excited to see where it takes me. I've enjoyed my time home with Jason so far and I hope to have many more great memories with him.

That is a big decision. I am happy for you to be a full time mommy. That is cool, and a lot of people can't afford it. So good job!
